Flame is a painting program, it belongs to my 'I am Artist' experimental project.
I think with tools which inspires you, everybody can be an artist.
You can try it here, change different brush settings and paint your own flame paintings.
When you change background from black to white (cream), palette changes from additive to substactive and the feeling of the painting is very different.
It's not easy to explain all brush parameters, so I leave this for your experimentation.
Another painting tool which is a part of 'I am Artist' project is
the Fluid Painter.
...and here you can find more experiments.

Troubleshoot help:
The applet is tested and working with Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Internet Exporer with Java plugin.
If applet is not running in a browser window try to:
1. reload page and wait a while, if it doesn't help,
2. delete browsers cache and restart browser, if this doesn't help,
3. download latest Java from here for windows or manually from here for all operating systems and reload page. Test if you have installed latest Java plugin here.
4. use Firefox or Opera instead of Internet Exporer (you have to allow active content in IE).
Programmed in processing.
