It would be awesome if there is a possibility to hide certain areas of a layer without having to (destructively) delete it. So if I need I can reveal that area later with ease.
I have made following examples using photoshop's layer masks.

I was trying to find this function the other day and realized it didn't exist, so I agree. Masks would make life so much easier. |
