The promoter is Escape Motions, s.r.o., whose registered office is at Teplická, 24/134, 921 01 Piešťany, Slovak Republic.
Employees of Escape Motions, s.r.o. or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the Contest or helping to set up the Contest shall not be permitted to enter the Contest.
There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
Entrants can start posting their artworks to the Contest on November 15th, 2019 00:00 GMT. The closing date for entries will be November 27th, 2019 23:59 GMT.
After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
Entrants are responsible for determining the corresponding time zone in their respective jurisdictions.
Every entrant can enter the Contest with a maximum of four (4) artworks fully or partially created with software developed by Escape Motions: Flame Painter, Rebelle, Amberlight, and Inspirit. Entrants may post more artworks created with the same software, however, the maximum of artworks posted by one entrant is four (4).
Using third party software is allowed. The use of our software must be obvious in the uploaded artwork.
The topic of the Contest is “What I Am Thankful For”. Entrants should post artworks that depict what or who they are most grateful for in their lives.
Entries should be submitted via Flame Painter, Amberlight or Rebelle applications or online via Escape Motions Community website. Entries must be labeled with the entrant’s name, name of the artwork, description, software which has been used, and #IAmThankful tag.
Artworks, which have already been published in the Community Gallery before the Contest start cannot join the Contest.
Only four (4) entries with the #IAmThankful tag are permitted. If there are more than four (4) entries by the same entrant, only the four last entries will be judged. Entrant may change his contest entry and choose the artwork, which will participate in the Contest after signing in to his Escape Motions Community account.
The size of the artworks is not limited, but we recommend at least 1200 x 1200 pixels. Rebelle, Flame Painter and Amberlight applications publish maximum picture size 2000 x 2000 pixels. When publishing online from the Community account, the file needs to be of a maximum of 4 MB size.
Publish option is available from Flame Painter 2.0, Amberlight 1.2, Rebelle 1.5 version and newer.
It is not possible to publish directly from the Inspirit app. In order to enter the Contest with Inspirit artwork, the entrant needs to upload the artwork directly through his Community account.
The main prize for the best artwork is $200 USD Amazon eGift card and $200 USD credit to be spent in the Escape Motions shop.
The second and third place will each be awarded $100 USD credit to be spent in the Escape Motions shop.
All information detailing how to enter this Contest forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
All artworks submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure, that any images they submit do not infringe on the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the artwork they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
Copyright in all images submitted for this Contest remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Contest, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to Escape Motions, s.r.o. to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.
Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Entrants will be notified by the promoter about any change to the Contest as soon as possible.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute or change any prize.
Submitted works will be judged on the strength of their emotive elements and technical excellence. Three winners will be selected internally by the Escape Motion team.
Three winners will be notified by email within 10 days after the Contest ends. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 30 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner or winners.
The promoter will notify every winner when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Winners agree to the use of their name and artwork in any promoter’s publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
