Art Surfaces organization and sets???

What's new

Greetings and thank you for all of your hard work.
I've purchased sets in the past and am wondering - is there anywhere where one can see just /which/ sets are in the bundled sets vs "there are this many that are compatible with".

I'm aware that there's no overlap between the papers bundle and the full color bundle - but also that there have been a number of new sets added to the surfaces collection as a whole since the debut of those bundles.
While the two bundles have gone up in price since then, have they also expanded in size? If so, have those been retroactively added to the collections of people who've bought the bundles in the past?

Long msg short - I'd love to expand my collection without accidentally overlapping things and would greatly appreciate this information.
Thank you again!

Hi @kabidlost ,

The "Full-color Bundle" includes only paper sets marked with the Full-color badge in our shop.
Since Rebelle 5 introduced full-color technology (released December 2021), we've only been preparing the full-color papers — no new monochromatic papers have been added since then.

Monochromatic papers are available in the "Papers Bundle", which has remained unchanged since Rebelle 5 and contains 31 sets.
The Full-color Bundle continues to grow and currently includes 26 sets.

You can log in and use the shop filter to check which papers you haven't purchased yet:

Let me know if you have further questions, I am happy to help. :)

@Veronika Escape Motions -- speaking of organization for purchased papers, is there any way to organize the papers we've purchased/downloaded on the main 'Select Canvas' area in Rebelle? Like, if I wanted to put all my actual canvas textures into a folder, sort of like we can do with brush categories for organization elsewhere in the program, is this at all possible? If not, are there any plans to add a feature along those lines? It'd be nice if I could take and minimize categories of textures I wasn't interested in seeing, just to make the screen a little less cluttered/organized while I'm deciding on settings for a piece.

Hi @Veronika Escape Motions , on a similar note I would like to know how to move/organize my existing purchased canvases into the new folder structure that was created for canvases. Is there a windows batch file to redo the folder structure and the settings.ini for already downloaded canvases?

What happens when I purchase new canvases, how do they get organized - new or old folder structure, names and display in the Select Canvas UI?

I am referring to this post - Rebelle Art Surfaces: A Tidy Update for a Better Experience

Thanks!

Hi Veronika,
I managed to get the new paper organization (folders and groups) by re-downloading and installing all the purchased papers. I very much like the reorg!

Incidentally, the ClassicMix.zip paper bundle still has the "Washi Kozo" folder, which I think should be renamed to "Washi". I have made a separate post for this so that it is easier to track and resolve if required.

Hi JennaStark,
You can add a new group in the Select Canvas dialog, and drag your favourite papers to the new group.
