Using Android devices as graphic tablets with Rebelle

Hi, I just want to share some information that maybe could be useful to some users.

Maybe most of you woud already know this, but if someone doesn't, there is a way to use android tablets with Rebelle (or any windows software in general). This method is also possible with Ipad but the app to get this done is diferent and I haven't tried it, so I have no information about it.

There is one android app called SuperDisplay which allows the user to make an android tablet became a graphic tablet like the ones of brand like wacom or huion.
The app works in this way, you downoload it on your android device and also download on your pc/laptop the driver of the app in the web of the app, to find it you just have to write Superdisplay on google and It will be the first page you find.
This app has a 3 days of free use period, and then the actual price it's 14,99€/$ which is a single payment and not a moth or year license, so this is actually a really aceptable price.

Once you've installed both android app and windows driver, you just have to connect your tablet to your computer/laptop with a usb cable, like the one that you'll normally use to charge it for example. in that moment, you will get the screen of your pc/laptop on your android tablet.
The best thing about it is that, if your tablet has a pencil(which is very obvious if you use it for drawing pouporses) and you use any painting software like Rebelle, it would work as it regulary does when using drawing apps in the tablet. So basically you will get the same presure sensibility and tilt inclination sensibility that the pencil has by itself.
Also, when using Superdisplay there will be floating buttons that you can use to configurate controlled actions, like ctrl+z, alt, or undo, so this app basically makes your andorid device a graphic tablet in which you can actually use the features of the pencil you normally use with the tablet.

The experience using this have been really great, and if you like more the feeling of drawing in a independent tablet but there are some things to your atworks that you can only reach with rebelle, this method would really work great.

Of course there are some things that maybe could slow your drawing and painting experience, since the menu of rebelle it's the menu of a full PC software while the tablets drawing app usually tend to have a more cleaned interface. So maybe this could be some point to have in consideration in the next Rebelle 8 cause it would actually be a nice improvement for the graphic screen tablets users in general. Also the dimensions of a tablet screen are smaller compared with many of the graphic screen tablets that are in the market, but it's still a really great drawing experience with this software that can make you draw and paint in a more confortable way compared to use other methods that maybe would requer you to have more space or bigger amount of devices and cables around.
I also must mention that you can use Superdisplay with WiFi connection, but you will need a really nice WiFi connection and it is less stable than using the recgular usb cable that works perfectly.
And in the case of someone wondering if this app will work of Huawei devices which use HarmonyOs instead of android, it atually works. You can install the app from the Aurora Store, but in order to make the payment you have to install Superdisplay in other android device like a mobile phone, make the payment there with the same google account that you have registered in your Huawei tablet and then you can use the app like in a regular android tablet.

I'm sorry for not having take any screen capture during the process bu one of the last works that you can see on my portfolio, called La Burbuja, has been entirely made with using a tablet with Rebelle thanks to SuperDisplay.

I just hope that this information would be usefull to someone and that I haven't said something that most of you already know, but I did't find any similar post about it.

Interesting Post, thank you

I did something like this with my ipad (the big one)
via the EasyCanvas App quit a while ago, connection from
PC to iPad was via lightning to USB Cable.

EasyCanvas comes in different Versions and the Version
who works via cable is without subscription.

Everthing was working fine. Since I switched to a new PC
and am currently doing more vector graphics on the PC,
I have not reinstalled it yet. But it was a nice experience.

Yes SuperDisplay is well worth a mention in here.
I used it on S8+ tablet when my drawing tablet was unavailable & it worked fine.

For future yes a small display/interface option for Rebelle might be nice, having majority or your Android / iPad screen free to mainly just concentrate & paint on while using short cuts on small keyboard/other input device could be a good flexible set up.
