What is Wood Veneer?
The beauty of Rebelle papers is that any real-life surface can be used for digital painting in this software. Wood veneers are thin sheets of wood, used to lend an elegant finish to various types of furniture, such as beds, cupboards, cabinets, and wall panels. Veneer is also used as a base for wood engraving - you can create engraving or scratches. Beautiful veneer surfaces will complete your collection of extraordinary paper assets.
Wood Veneer Exotic
This noble wood surface includes veneers made of noble oak, Japanese jatoba and exotic bamboo. Painting with watercolors and oils on these unusual surfaces brings a unique experience. Drawings with pencil, ink, and angle can be perceived down to the level of individual wood fibers.

When creating these assets, we look for a suitable contrast in texture to capture the characteristics of the fibers, which create a unique structure every time. Papers and canvases are not a simple copy of reality. They are new textured images created with respect to the original pattern and behave realistically like real paper while painting in Rebelle.
