I thought I posted a correction to the thread about tilt/rotation still not working but it has not appeared for some reason. So I am posting a new thread. I mistakenly was using a different Wacom stylus, not the Art Pen, and therefore my post was incorrect. But rotation still does not function properly. The icon with the tip angle indicator is still wobbling so much that you cannot tell what the angle will be when the stroke starts. I hope they got that fixed. But now it seems in versions 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 the rotation of the tip is opposite the rotation of the stylus. When I roll the pen clockwise in my hand the angle of the tip (when actually making the stroke) is in the opposite angle. Counter-clockwise. And when I rotate the pen counter-clockwise the stroke angle is exactly opposite in the clockwise direction. So even though I used the wrong stylus in my last post on the other thread, when using the correct stylus, the Art Pen, the rotation is still not fixed and the initial request to stabilize the icon angle indicator has not been corrected. I am still going back to version 4.0.1 until this is worked out. Rebelle 4 is still far far better than Corel painter and I am loving it despite this minor glitch and some of the other things users are reporting. I love it!

Thanks for the reply Peter. The Preferences>Invert Pen Tilt did not work. Still rotates opposite the direction I rotate the stylus. And thanks for the update that the wobbly icon is being looked at. Very much appreciate the replies!

Invert Pen Tilt did not work but I noticed that the box for Wacom Device (Wintab) was unchecked. When I put a check in there it now rotates properly. Thanks, Peter.

Hi! I am using Rebelle 3 and testing Rebelle 4. Wacom Cintiq 16 with Pro Pen 2 and Art Pen. I have set the "Rotation" in "Brush Creator" to "Pen Rotation". But both pen brush effect in Rebelle 3 and 4 always remain in following trectory effect. Please let me know what I have missed. Thank you! TC

Hi [USER=15817]@teechye[/USER], Does the Pen rotation work in other drawing software? When Rebelle is unable to detect Pen rotation or tilt from the stylus, it switches automatically to the "lower" setting which is "Follow Trajectory". Based on the information about your Wacom tablet on the official Wacom website, Pen rotation is not listed as supported for this model. Please let me know if you are able to use it in other software.

Hi Veronika, Thank you for responding to my query. I confirmed with Wacom’s Technical Support that Cintiq 16 support Art Pen’s pen rotation before I made the purchase. ([URL]https://estore.wacom.com/en-US/art-pen-kp701e2.html[/URL]) I do not have other painting software beside Robelle. Somehow I managed to get Robelle 3 rotation to work but when I rotate the pan clockwise physically, the brush on screen rotate anticlockwise. Robelle 4, brushes are always on “Follow Trajectory”. Hi Leopold, If your pen supports rotation, then it should be working in Rebelle without additional settings. Do you get the same behavior with all brushes? Some brushes have a locked rotation setting, those that don't use the highest setting by default which is Pen rotation.
