Deckled Edges in Photoshop

It's great to be able to export art as a .psd file retaining all the layers for editing in PS, but deckled edges are not saved in this format. There is a workaround for this, but it would be a lot more convenient to have the alpha channel for the deckles saved inside the .psd file so that we can still edit individual layers while retaining those beautiful deckles.
