[SOLVED] No Pen pressure with Rebelle 3.0.5 (Huion Kamvas GT-191)

With the latest upgrade to 3.0.5 I can no longer use tablet pen pressure at all.

However, when I change the Tablet Options to "Wacom Device (Wintab)", every time I apply pressure to the screen, the eraser is activated.

Pressure is enabled, but I can only use the eraser. Rebelle 3 is pretty much useless to me now. 

Please help.

We haven't changed a tablet logic in v.3.0.5. Since you are using a Huion tablet, you should always use "Wacom Device (Wintab)" in Tablet Options.

Please make sure to check if you have the latest tablet driver.

A workaround is to disable pen's eraser as a shortcut in Keyboard Shortcuts.

This sounds like the windows update problem from earlier this year.  There is a registry edit that fixes it.  https://www.reddit.com/r/Windowsink/comments/8508fi/controlling_pen_behavior_in_windows_10/

I had the same issue with my Gaomon pd1560 this spring and the registry edit fixed the issue.  Also if you have Photoshop as well and aren't using a Wacom tablet, make sure the fix suggested for Wacom tablets is not done (set UseSystemStylus 0 in PSUserconfig.txt) as this will bugger up other tablets (full details on that fix here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2477168

I have a similar problem .. :( I've tried everything, the above solutions, reinstalling tablet drivers ... nothing helps.

When I have an active brush and I do not take my pen off the screen, it paints normally, but when I lightly raise my pen,  Rebelle loses the brush and turns on the eraser ... it's really annoying... :(
Why is this eraser turning on ???
