Juicy marker?

A friend of mine does some really amazing drawings using a sharpie or other marker on chapboard, where the absorbancy of the paper creates a nice effect. I've been trying this as well - it's very satisfying. I recently downloaded some of the natural fiber papers during the 20% off sale and see that a few of the "Exotic" papers like Yucca Smooth simulate the surface qualities of chapboard, so I've been trying to reproduce this effect digitally. However, because the markers in Rebelle 5 are dry media, the ink doesn't have that subtle spread or soak that you get with a juicy marker on fibrous paper. I've tried using the ink pen or liner brush, but the behavior isn't quite right. I'm not sure if this is a feature request or a help topic, but I'm wondering if there's a way to add a wetness component to the marker tools to react with the paper in this way. Perhaps there is an existing setting or workaround to do this? I know this is a super-specific scenario, but you guys are great with the subtle details, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Thanks!

Dont know if its helpful. Just a few ideas: The first option i thought would be to try it with the watercolor brush. But create a brush tip that is in something like a marker tip. Another option could be to use the pastel brush or the marker brush. But before or after your paint to wet the canvas with the water tool.

As far as i know you could use the Water Tool with any Brush in Rebelle. Hi @robsalk, You may try to copy the Marker brushes to Ink or Watercolor tool - they will keep their setting, but will behave like the tool they're under. With Ink and Watercolor you will get the diffusion effect.

Thanks. Copying the bullet market tool to the ink menu, playing with water and canvas absorbancy settings has provided some satisfactory results. These paper textures are magical.
