[SOLVED] Touch Screen Not Working On Touchscreen Laptop

I have a Windows 10 Lenovo Laptop with Touchscreen tablet mode. Using the latest Rebelle 5 Pro version, just bought today.
The default setting seems to be moving the paper / canvas around the screen with the touchscreen, and painting with the pointer cursor. I would REALLY prefer to paint with my touchscreen, and adjust screen settings and paper position with the curson instead. I have an iPad I could use, but my laptop has way more space and I was hoping to be able to use this with my laptop's touchscreen since that's what I have my device for.
I've tried changing between the "Microsoft link device" and "Microsoft 8+ Pointer Input" settings and the "Use Mouse Position" and "Use Pen Position" settings. I don't see any other settings that could fix this problem, though I just downloaded Rebelle for the first time.
Can someone please give a blow by blow elaboration on how to actually switch the input, so that my touchscreen puts paint on the paper with my finger or stylus, and the cursor just clicks settings instead of painting with the cursor? I hate painting witb a cursor when I have a touchscreen laptop.
I saw another user asked this question with ZERO replies, so help would be appreciated.

Hi Kathleen,
Please try to open "Edit -> Preferences" in Rebelle's main menu, then select "Keyboard -> Tools (hold) -> Move Canvas / Stencil" and remove the "Touch" shortcut.

I have this same issue and did what Michal suggested but I still can't use my fingers or a pen on my touchscreen. Dell Inspiron with 64bit Wiondows 11 Home. Is there anything else I need to do?

Hi @bishop67,
Did I understand correctly that you can't use touch or pen at all with Rebelle? Does it work correctly with other applications? You can try various combinations in Rebelle's main menu -> Edit -> Preferences -> Tablet -> Tablet Options.

Similar problem, I got touch working by the above solutions, BUT as soon as I turn nanopixel on, it stops working. The cursor freezes on the page and stays motionless if I try to use touch. I can control and pant with my mouse with nanopixels on, but it locks up when I try to touch point.
If I turn nanopixels off, I can touch paint again.
The laptop has 32 gb ram and a 2gb dedicated graphics card. i7 processor. It's a few years old, but should be able to cope.

The multitouch feature does not work on the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Pro 360 when nanopixels is activated in Rebelle 7 Pro 7.1.6. It is surprising that this bug has remained unresolved for such an extended period.
