Basic Colour Jitter

Like the title says. Colour varies a small amount on each paint 'dab' It doesn't immediatedly look like it's emulating realism, but ALL photoshop artists who do 'traditional' style painting use this a lot. (at least, I don't know any who don't) I can't think of any other painting software that doesn't have this, but both Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop implement it well. It's a fairly simple feature, and considering this can already be done manually to some extent (I made an autohotkey script that spams the keys for colour change, although it works based on a delay so not as efficient as just varying each dab) I really hope to see it implemented in Rebelle. Note this is different than colour randomization, as suggested in this thread. Thanks

I would also love this, but would like to add color jitter for the dabs in one stroke as well as color jitter for each individual stroke(every time the brush is lifted). Also a way to control the range of color that jiiter uses(hue range). On a similar note. a brightness and saturation jitter with the same control would be nice. I would look Corel Painter and/or Clip Studio Paint as they both have systems that work well for these features.

MyPaint does this and all types of jitter/brushes masterfully. I really wish rebelle looked into that. It's open source too, they could even inspect the code.

Also would love to see color smudge if the brush crosses through fresh paint

Just found this thread because I couldn't find the color jitter settings... Turns out they don't exist in Rebelle 7 :(. This is disappointing because there's color jitter in Krita but I don't want to transform to psd and go back and forth between apps. I hope we can receive color jitter soon!

+1 This was my favorite feature of Corel Painter before I switched to Rebelle.

+1 Went looking through the brush editor for this setting because I wanted to mimic a brush I made in a different program, and was sad to find Rebelle doesn't have this option yet.

If anyone's curious, it's still not in Rebelle 8 or 8 pro, maybe on 9? Although, if you're used to traditional... it's no big deal

It is in R8 for bristle brushes, per bristle and per stroke, and word is that it will come to the stamp brushes as well. Take a look at the EM tutorial on bristle brushes at about 7:20 for a demo. The brush engine for R8 has changed significantly but expect it to be in this version, likely within the year long free update window.
