Escape Motion Connect

hi all - I keep getting an error message - escape motions connect is not running - both apps are open - this happened after the upgrade to rebelle 6 from 5 - any help greatly appreciated - thanks in advance / Mac OS Monteray 12.6.2

Hello [USER=2077]@Neekookeen[/USER], Please check whether the following option is deselected in PS: [i]Edit > Preferences -> Interface (or Workspace) > Auto-Collapse Iconic Panels. [/i] When it is selected, the Escape Motions Connect panel hides when you switch to other windows. It always has to be opened during export from Rebelle. Let me know whether this helped.

Thank you for getting back so quickly Veronika - In my preference settings I dont see any "Interface or worksoace' buttons - or anywhere to check the [i] Auto-Collapse Iconic Panels - [/i]so Im still inable to see if this is the problem - could I gett a bit more instructioins - thanks so much nick

What happens if you select the whole layer (cmd + A) and copy it (cmd + c), then with PS allready open, "New Document from Clipboard". Does PS create the new document with what you have selected in Rebelle? Make your manipulations in PS, merge into one layer, if you used masks and adjustment layers, select all –> copy –> go back to Rebelle and paste (cmd + V). Normally pops up an info (depending on your preferences) asking you what color space should be used and you've got it. In the end, EMConnect does the same with a little less effort, but still requires Rosetta mode ... [i]Hint: This copy/paste feature works regardless, PS is running "native" or in "Rosetta Mode".[/i] If you do a lot of "cross app copy/paste action" may be consider [i]PastePal[/i], which stores your copied items and lets you re-use it again, works drag and drop. ;-)
