Is there a shortcut for this? I can't seem to find one if there is.

AFAIK there isn't a 'layer isolate' function in Rebelle. I really would like to have one.

tldr: It would be great to have alt-click as a toggle so that alt-click will isolate a layer (or Group if more than one group exists), and a second alt-click (on same layer or Group) will return other layers/groups to their previous visibility state.
I couldn't find anything about isolate in the manual (so maybe its not officially supported), but alt-clicking a layer's visibility icon will actually hide everything except the layer that is being clicked. Cool!
However, its not a toggle and does remember other layers and groups states, so you have to manually make all other layers and groups visible when you want to see them again (click & dragging multiple layers visibility in one swipe makes this a bit easier - would be nice to have that in the brush panel).
A few other quirks:
If the layer is in a group, alt-clicking the layer's visibility icon will also turn off that layer group's visiblility, making the layer you want to isolate invisible as well. So the layer group's visibility must be toggled back on just to see the isolated layer.
If there are other groups (other than the one with the isolated layer) they also get hidden and must be manually turned on, along with the layers inside them. Ideally, isolate would not make its own parent group invisible, and would also only affect other groups top level visibility, not the layers inside the other groups.
Alt-clicking a group's visibility makes all the layers inside it invisible, so there is nothing to view on canvas. Ideally this would turn off group-level visibility of other groups (and therefore layers would not be visible even if they're visibility is set to on).

Interesting... It never occured to me to alt-click on the visibility icon. In Krita it's alt-click on the layer thumbnail and works very well.
Ya, would be nice to get rid of the quirks you described.

Correcting a Typo on my part and can't edit posts.

And Krita has a hotkey for it!

Hi @fjgddd,
Yes, Alt+click the visibility icon of a layer will hide other layers. It is a bit inconsistent with the groups - we will look into this.
Also we will add this to the manual, it is indeed not mentioned anywhere! Thanks for pointing that out.

Just tried this on Win 10 with version 6.1 and Alt-Click the visiblity Icon does work as a toggle!

Groups should work from the version 6.1.3 too.
