My entry into "Spectrum" done in Rebelle

Hi fellow Rebels! 

For the first time I had the audacity to suppose I could enter an international competition to get into "Spectrum." It is a widely appreciated annual of “the best” in science fiction, fantasy, horror etc. collectively termed “Fantastic Art.”

The artwork and poem are entitled "Chew." They are part of a larger body of work that Crystal “Word Wraith” Brousseau and myself are collaborating on. The creature depicted is known as "The Injustice Collector" and is a personal demon excised from my own psyche in the year of self-reflection that 2018 became. Watch out for this ... tendency. Seek justice to be sure, but don't harbor grievances and rattle old bones of contention with those in your life.

Painted entirely in Rebelle 3, with some assists from Sketchbook and Photoshop for technical tasks.
