Hi, I am new here. I was wondering if any of you teach digital painting with Rebelle? I have looked at YouTube have not found a good tutorial of what I want to do. One comes close but after explaining stuff he goes into speedpaint mode and I can't catch up and he using his custom brushes that looks like are doing all kinds of crazy things! I think I should learn by using Rebelle's default brushes and then move on to the more advanced brushes as I get comfortable.
Specifically, I want to enhance my landscape photography by importing an image and using Rebelle's "Tracing" feature. I know how to get tracing setup but I have no idea of what to do next. Do I paint over each tree leaf? Do I look for the shapes and values and paint the large shpes and then get down to the details? Nor do I know of a good brush to start with! So many options! Anyway, I would love to chat with someone and learn this.

Hello David,
I believe you are referring to Tom Gallovich's videos he did about tracing? He shared his brushes to our online Brushes library:

...just hit 'Ctrl+F' and search for "Tom" - you will find two brush sets.
Also, I recommend commenting on the specific video, he has many tutorials on his Youtube channel as well, and I am sure he will be happy to help with the questions you may have.

ciao Veronika, potrei chiederti se c'è un metodo per sapere se quei pennelli sono già in mio posesso (scaricati precedentemente) o devo scaricarli? La libreria free assets ha molte ripetizioni, e mi confondo molto a capire se alcuni pennelli li possiedo già confrontando tutte le forme che ho... è un lavoro lunghissimo, i nomi dei creatori non figurano più nei presets una volta scaricati e spesso devo cancellare doppi pennelli perchè li ho scaricati due volte.
forse bisognerebbe mettere le date di pubblicazione dei nuovi assets, no so, o qualcosa di simile.
forse sono io che non ho capito bene come si fa. grazie, se mi vorrai aiutare, mi dispiacerebbe perdere dei validi ottimi pennelli.

You can search by the brush's name in the Brushes folder accesible via menu: [i]Help > Show Library folder > Brushes[/i]
If you would like to reset all your brushes to display only the default ones, please open Rebelle and go to the menu: [i]Help > Show Library folder[/i]. Close Rebelle but keep the folder opened.
Then rename your existing 'Brushes' folder to any other name.
Open Rebelle and a new 'Brushes' folder with default brushes should appear in this directory. Also, the default brushes will appear in the Brushes panel.
