Performance optimization Please.

New features are great, but how about adding a proper performance optimization for the brushes so all the brushes become possible to use. Some brushes are suuuuuuuper slow and as you can see from the screenshot below, my 32 core CPU is doing nearly nothing (only 11% used), and also the GPU (Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070) is only 15% used and still when I took this screen shot the brush stroke had 5-15 second delay (which is unusable). So it seems like there is a bottle neck somewhere in the software. Same happens with many default brushes, but to replicate the issue I used "Shred 2" with just default settings without modifications. Would be great if Rebelle was able to utilize the cores in the CPU and GPU fully.. Or maybe there are just some code in the brush engine that is not optimal. I think this general performance optimisation would be more valuable than adding new features. :) Cheers. :)

Oh, I just noticed something.

If I use the mouse the drawing latency is more than 5 seconds.
But if I use wacom tablet instead.. using exactly the same brush then it's super fast and there are no performance problems.
Very strange. Maybe it's somehow related to when the brush pressure is 100% ?

hi. I'm not a Rebelle support person but I am also on Windows 11 AMD PC (Ryzen 3900xt, 32GB, Nvidia 1650) and also a Dell XPS laptop (64GB RAM, 3050 mobile GPU). I see that you are using a default document size that is reasonable and also a brush preset. I tried this on both of my machines and they are fine. When I did have problems with lag my first place to look was the dab spacing, but I see it is fine on this brush and document resolution. Another thing that gave me lag problems was my tablet and tablet driver modes. One culprit was Windows Ink. Once I disabled that in my tablet driver and also in my art programs (Rebelle, Clip Studio Paint, etc) this lag went away. If given a choice, I always choose Wintab driver not Windows Ink. Perhaps give that a try and see if it helps.
