Macbook trackpad issues

I am having issues with my macbook pro using touch gestures on the trackpad.
I am running Rebelle 6 in Rosetta mode (OS 12.6.8)
The current trackpad settings make Rebelle frustratingly unusable for the following reasons (despite changing/adjusting preferences);
• Can only zoom in with two fingers (no out)
• Two finger swipes always result in zooms (and only zoom in) instead of pans
• Cursor continually just disappears
• Really sensetive to the sightest two fingers...... but a delayed response

Hi @v5Lye8YEUIJ7,
We are aware of the incomatibility with the trackpads, as a workaround you can turn off the touch support in Rebelle's Preferences > Tablet where you disable the touch. This way, you should not be getting any issues while working on a trackpad.
One thing to try is to go to Rebelle > Preferences > Tablet and switch between Mouse position and Pen position to see whether one setting works better than the other.
Always confirm the change with the OK button.
Has this helped?

Long time this problem happens. In my case, i can't use Magic Trackpad. It's the only software with that problem.
Strangely, the touch gestures works perfect in a Wacom Intuos Pro, with the exception of unwanted touches due to no palm rejection in Wacom Drivers. In this case, the Wacom tablet have some issues out of Rebelle; not so much, but Magic Trackpad is way much better for "touch peripheral".

Hi v5Lye8YEUIJ7,
We included some fixes to the touch features for macOS which could improve working on trackpads. Could you please download the latest version (Rebelle 6.2.3) and test it on your trackpad?
How is it working for you?

I just enabled touch in the preferences, and at last it seems to work on the mac trackpad, without it going haywire and stopping the keyboard shortcuts working (which it has always done in the past). Great work!!

I just downloaded 7 Pro and am still having major trackpad issues on m1 macbook pro;
• Two finger drag does not scroll canvas but instead rotates and/or zooms it simultaneously (and randomly)
• Two finger pinch/pull zooms out or in massively and randomly in ether direction (zoom in/out)
• Two finger rotate feels locked or rotates left and right massively and randomly direction wise.
• whatever dual finger touch action used often pushes the whole canvas off screen or makes it tiny requiring constant 'fit to view' resets
I've set trackpad sensitivity way down and have used both pen and mouse position.
This is REALLY frustrating, are there any suggestions?...... as trackpad touch is unusable in this current state.
I can't understand why touch controls aren't just matched to or use the native touch gestures already existing in mac os.
If i turn touch off completely in the touch preferences i can strangely at least 2 finger scroll the canvas with the trackpad ....but not zoom or rotate.
Any help would be much appreciated.
