Fullscreen mode not working correctly

When choosing the enter fullscreen mode in Rebelle 6, it behaves erraticly. Some times it will go to fullscreen without any issues and other times it will keep it in a window and block the menu bar and even at times making me force quit the application.
I've used every version of Rebelle since 3 and 6 is the first to give me any issues with fullscreen.
Having the menu bar hide presents an added issue when it messes up and goes into the windowed mode too, making it impossible to select anything

Hi @davesunday,
Thanks for reporting these issues. The fullscreen mode on Windows has been redesigned recently and we would be very grateful for your feedback. Please send us a video of the issue so we see what exactly is happening:

How many monitors do you use?

Apologies for the delay in responding.
I only have my main monitor and a wacom pen display.
It seems that I have the issue mainly after changing my setting back to extend displays from show only on 1 within the display settings in windows.
Sometimes the windows title/menu bar gets locked at the top of the window and the program won't register any inputs.
I have mitigated the problem a bit by not changing my monitor configuration within windows for now.
I will say though that being able to choose to have the rebelle menu bar auto hide or just stay there would be a great addition. Kinda surprised that's not in the preferences already.

One more thing to note is that rebelle often doesn't remember that it was in fullscreen mode previously and I have to manually switch it to fullscreen pretty often.

Hi @davesunday, thank you for testing it further. It would help our development team greatly if you could send the screen recording when the issue appears. We would need to see the described behavior closely.
Many thanks!

I have sent two videos of two seperate examples of the fullscreen behavior not funtioning correctly.
This issue of the menu bar becoming unavailable and all of the hokeys unresponsive after sleep is having me pulling out my hair at this point since it's the fourth time I've lost an entire days worth of work.

Thanks @davesunday for your response and videos. In two monitor setup, when I change the configuration via 'Win+P' how many and which monitors are active, I can reproduce the issue, when menu remains hidden. But when ESC key is pressed, the menu appears and menu items can be activated.
ESC in fullscreen should exit fullscreen mode (but in the case of not showing menu in fullscreen, Rebelle remains in FS mode with the menu in my case). BTW, Rebelle have an option for periodic auto save.
When menu is not displayed in fullscreen, ESC key and other shortcuts work for me, do you have keyboard shortcuts working too? Can you please try to reproduce the issue? When you reproduce it, please send us the app.log file. The step-by-step instructions are below:
1. Open Rebelle, go to the Main Menu > Help > Show Library Folder... which opens a file explorer window. Go inside the 'Log' folder there.
2. Reproduce the issue with the keyboard shortcuts in Rebelle.
3. Close Rebelle, but keep the file explorer window opened.
4. In the file explorer window, in the 'Log' folder, there is an 'app.log' file. Please, send it to us.
Adding an option into preferences for auto-hide menu in fullscreen mode might be a good idea, we will consider it.

Thank you for your quick reply. Using the ESC key has been a lifesaver. And so far I haven't had an issue with the shortcuts not working after I use the ESC key. Im still trying to figure out the exact conditions to reproduce the issue where all menus and buttons wont respond, along with the menu bar being stuck covered up by the windows menu bar. Seems like this would happen when switching the setting in windows to switch which monitors are showing and then back again.
