First of all, I am new to Rebelle. I am curious about how to use new functionallity in Rebelle 7. How do do you use Background Textures in Brush Creator When I attempted this, the brush did not draw anything. At first I thought it was my custom texture, so I try an included texture and it still not work. I good training video would be nice.

Hi @HStewart4 - Try other blend modes. I'm not sure what 'Height' or 'Linear Height' are supposed to do, but if you pull down the 'Depth' slider a little bit bit, it should work.

Hi HStewart4, there are combinations of textures and blend modes that prevent the brush from painting, notably the aforementioned "Height" and "Linear Height" blend modes with "Depth" set too high will often cause that, or also "Multiply" mode with black texture and 100 Depth. It is a good idea to use a texture that is not uniform (i.e. there is some pattern, splats or noise present, see included Pencil and Pastel brushes for some examples) so you can see clearly where it is being removed from or added to your brush, and experiment with the depth and various blend modes.
