Hello, I have two questions about clipping masks. First, is it possible to clip multiple layers and folders at once? And second, is it possible to take the inverse of what is clipped? I'd like to clip all my layers and then paint the background around them. Thanks!

Hi AddieCoop, Rebelle has two types of masking, temporary and permanent. Temporary is Clipping Mask and is applied, when layers are blending to the canvas and doesn't affect painting. You can have multiple Clipping Masks, but can't be applied to the layer group. Clipping Masks can't be inverse too. Permanent masking is Masking Fluid Layer and permanently affects painting after this feature is active. Masking Fluid Layer can be opaque or transparent, which is a kind of inversion. When opaque, the visible part of "M" layer is a mask, where can't be painted to other layers. You can also have multiple of them and also can't be applied to the layer group. Masking Fluid Layer is applied only to the layers in the same layer group/subgroup. Cliping Mask can be enabled via right click to the layer, bottom layer is the mask. Layer1 is first bottom layer without little arrow and become a mask.
