can't draw on canvas - area only shows brushes names?

Sometimes we hit a random key on the ketboard and it togles the most bizarre situation that we dont know how to reverse - So this time - parts of the canvas cant be drawn on and it just shows the name of the brush used on that section on a diffrent layer - which dont get me wrong - super useful now that we know that it exsists but how do we turn it off so we can draw on that area again??

We're not sure what happened based on your description. Are you able to reproduce the issue? Can you please send us a video of it?

A screen recording is fine. If you know the steps how to reproduce this, that' be also very helpful.
