Keeping the reference images inside a docked window when opening a file?

I asked for this during version 7's beta testing, and I think it might be on the to-do list, but I wonder if there's another solution for this. Basically, every time I open up a file I've been working on, the reference images I had opened inside of one of the docked windows would all pop out and be fully maximized, covering up the entire screen, and I would have to drag them one-by-one back into the docked window. But next time I open the same file it'll happen all over again. It's extremely annoying, especially if you have multiple reference images opened as tabs in the docked window. Is there a way to keep them inside the docked window when opening the file? (Locking the panels doesn't work for that.)

Hi LunatiqueRob, We will look into this and fix it, hopefully to the next R7 update.

Hi @LunatiqueRob , This has finally been fixed to Rebelle 7.2.7 update! Please note that the reference image will still open as a floating panel. The behavior differs slightly from other panels, but the issue of it opening maximized has now been resolved.
