Your illustrative style in this piece looks fantastic, and your form has great depth. Do I detect a little Rockwell inspiration in this? Just a little? It reminds me a little of a Saturday Evening Post cover.

I was a bit disorientated by the background at first, as I didn't know what the bus stations in New York look like. But I like the painting, the colors, the brushstrokes. I also love how his bag with the shopping is made. Nice scencery, well made.

[USER=166440]@Emmjayen[/USER]: thanks! Yes, I was pulling some Saturday Evening Post / Rockwell with this one -- I love the characters that appear in those paintings; they're so fun and interesting! [USER=1510]@2dpainter[/USER]: ha! Yeah, I kind of left the bus interior out of the study -- was mostly just interested in practicing my brushwork and character work. My camera is [i]full[/i] of so many interesting New Yorkers that I've seen while out and about, so you'll probably see more studies along these lines. :)
