Watercolor: another question about edges

I'm a big fan of Oharu-Chan artwork, specially their watercolors. I was wondering if it's possible to get marked edges with splaces like the ones of the next example. All the result I get with "blooming" and splashes" don't have those marked edges and gets kinda blurry. Same with the edges in those stars that are clearly hand drawn one by one, are those edges drawn manually? or they form alone when doing paint on water technique? Hi sifyro, Try to set the 'Edge darkening' option to Max, you can find it in the Visual settings panel. Depending on how the edge's saturation is different from the color of the stroke you may try to pick the darker pixels of the edge using the Magic Wand selection and copy and paste that to another layer. This will make the edge even more profound.

also this was done by dropping a tiny bit of clear water onto the watercolor on the paper. You can do the same in Rebelle by chosing the water tool, set the size and tap it on the area you want to have that fuzzy texture, and then wait for it to process, you can click Dry the Layer when you see the texture you want so it will stop and not blending out completely. You can also do what Veronika have said up there to enhance the texture.
