[SIZE=5]Hi, I've never used this software before and wanted to try it out on the 30 day trial on my MacBook Pro however after I've logged in it says I have 30 days remaning. I click try and it quits right away! The welcome email says I need to activate - but when I click activate it comes up with the (2nd image) message below? unable to verify the license? Hi there, I replied via email but it's an M1 Max MBP running Seqouia 15.4.1. I unsinstalled and rebooted and re-isntalled twice but it is still crashing after hitting Try and I haven't been able to load Rebelle. There is no crashdump or red console warnings - a few ambers (eg. the use of non-standard window creation / gui during the login trigger security flags which you could fix in code to speed loading up - they aren't show stoppers). I captured every signal from Rebelle on the console leading upto the termination and it seems this could be GPU related ... but I would have thought with all the class-leading physics & graphics you're delivering at least one of your devs would have run it on an m1 max? :) I dumped the console log into Gemin 2.5 pro (with 1,000 token buffe size now you could even feed the source in :) and it pointed at GPU errors ... but then again this could also be a total lie / daydream and it's trying too hard . I managed to get it running - and it looks beautiful :) And the AI was wrong .. or maybe it just didn't have enough to work on.. Regardless - I decided to find a cache on the internet of an earlier release and ran it (7.0.7). When I hit try on that version ... it also failed but saying :- [ATTACH type="full" alt="Screenshot 2025-05-06 at 4.46.07 pm.png"]426[/ATTACH] I'm not sure what part of the install is meant to create the folders above, but it isn't working - and with the older release you actually get to see this error. Anyway - I granted full disk access to Rebelle - then manually created the folders above and 7.0.7 launches fine and I selected Pro trial (might as well go large whilst it's free before stepping back :p) I next installed 7.2.7 over the top - leaving the Data folder intact - and it launched first time :) Hopefully this can be of help to you or others facing such an issue. Can't wait to try it out :)
