I'm using version 7.2.7. Every time I touch my brush to the canvas to start painting it switches from the color I've selected to a very dark color. It does this whether I'm using the pen for my tablet or the mouse.

After doing some research, I found that I had turned on Tracing on my pencil layer and this was causing my issue. The paint color would change to the color of the pencil as it passed over.
