When I select paint or layer content and [B]paint within that selection[/B] my [B]brush strokes go extremely slow[/B] and take seconds for paint stroke to appear on the layer. This does not occur when I paint without a selection. I am missing something.... or do I need to adjust settings?

I can confirm this. Just now doing this with HB pencil in selection. Extreme lag in painting, with or without realshader turned on V8.0.4.

can also confirm this, this is already in Rebelle 8.0.3 with more ar less all brushes. Paint in a selection and the Brush lags, which it doesnt without a selection.

[/QUOTE] [B]In addition...[/B] When I select [I][B]Paint Selection (Q) [/B][/I]in the layers panel and try to paint within that selection it paints also outside the selection. I am not sure if this is related to the above or a different issue. - Thank you!

[B]Update:[/B] I just downloded latest update (Rebelle 8 Pro [8.0.5]) and painting within a selection is no longer slow.
