I'd like to mention that the Rebelles forum website is one of the slowest to load and use. I'm on a few other forums, but only the Blender Artist website is sometimes similarly slow. The Rebelles forum website has several other problems as well. Often, the website doesn't load at all or takes an extremely long time to load. Sometimes the login button isn't displayed, so you can't log in. If you've already in a post and log in to reply, the entire website reloads, which again takes a while. Very often, you have to log out twice to see the logout button. I'm using the latest Firefox on Windows 11. Dont know the reason for this all, but no other Forum Website i visit regulary dont have this Problems and i visit a few. So for me it looks this Website have a few Problems.

I am using Firefox on windows 11 and I have no problem at all. It actually may not be the site that is the problem. I would suggest you search Firefox running slow and look to see if what is suggested solves the problem. Good Luck

It’s possible both experiences are valid. The site may work fine for some users but still have issues for others depending on browser setup, extensions, or login state. The specific problems mentioned (missing buttons, double logout, page reloads) sound worth noting, so it could help if more users share their browser and OS details. That way it’s easier to see whether this is a local issue or something the site team should review.
i agree i would rather have a discord for EM which is why a lot of us are on Justice's but as for the site issue, ive had that same thing where it wont let you log in. you have to delete cache and cookies on the browser youre using, close the browser, relaunch it and it should work. the site shouldnt be that slow though, i would try this first then see if it still loads slowly for you. be aware on firefox deleting cache and cookies etc can make you have to re-login to sites.

Good Luck
As I already mentioned, this website is the only one where I'm having the most problems. And I've also been on several other forums too, with no Problems at all. So i dont see why this should be a Firefox Problem. Btw. i tried other Browser too, with the same Results. There are times, like now, when everything works normally. Which, by the way, I consider further evidence that it's not a Firefox thing

My solution, instead of messing around with browser settings just for the Escape Motion forum and wasting time: If the page doesn't load within a certain time, I simply leave and check back another time. There are times, like now, when everything works normally. Which, by the way, I consider further evidence that it's not my browser settings.
i think everyone here was just taking time out of their day, trying to be nice and offer you advice and solutions to help.
I appreciate that. But i dont know where I was unfriendly. I was simply listing why, in my opinion, it can't be due to the browser or its settings. Because there are times when the website loads without any problems (like now), and times when it's pointless waiting for the website to appear because it simply takes forever. All other websites work without any issues.

As i wrote above there are also times when the EM Forum Website work also without any Problems. Btw my Internet connection works also without any Problem.

Using Chrome on Windows 11 and the Escape Motions' website loads instantly and is otherwise very responsive. PS: Please, don't move to Discord!

I have " Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" set on Firefox in Privacy and Security. I nearly always close and re-open Firefox when changing sites. I suspect that is why I do not have the same issue.
dont worry, no one said theyre actually moving lol ? i said we chill on Justice's discord, theres even a bot there that helps with rebelle questions. its not an official discord for EM but close enough for now. idk what you have against discord but forums style sites are super outdated. a lot of the audience that would use rebelle interact on sites like discord.

I can't speak for why the others would rather not be on Discord, but personally speaking, it's because the information shared there is inaccessible and at risk of (more) permanent loss than what's on a forum. Discord isn't a "site," it's a chatroom, which is fine for conversations! But none of the information in it can be saved in the Wayback Machine like a website can be, to preserve the info in case the original source disappears (via being shut down, or deleted, or etc.). And none of the information shared in Discord can be found via an internet search, so it might as well not exist to anyone who doesn't have Discord and happens to know what specific server(s) has people in it who know the answers to their questions. (And even if they do figure that out, judging by a video game server I'm in, you end up with new folks popping in to ask the same questions over and over and over, because the answers get pushed up out of visibility so quickly. So having an official one for Escape Motions has a fair chance of just running into the same phenomenon, while also removing the info from general access.) ...So yeah, I prefer forums and the like, for information accessibility and preservation.
there are ways to preserve information stored on a discord server and even back up anything said on a server. also there are ways to look at information from servers via a web search. that information is unlikely to be known by many people but it is possible. ive never had a problem with my server being shut down and ive never seen one randomly shut down either. its really tough to get a server actually shut down by discord. wayback machine was in a huge data breach so i wouldnt advise relying on that. if EM said they had an official discord alongside their site people would go to either that suited them. as for the repeated questions, even on the forums here people ask or report the same issues over and over, forums are harder to search quickly to see if the info has already been stated. its also more difficult to quickly make a report and provide quick attachments. on Justice's the bot helps a lot with people just needing to ask a quick question and we compensate that by helping out if we see the bot talking nonsense. it takes a community effort and we provide it. theres information on the discord that is nowhere on the forums here that you guys are missing because of not wanting to go on. so if a knowledge base is a concern youre missing out already. its harder to build a sense of community on a forum. because of human nature, forums typically become cliques and go towards the behavior of sites like reddit where people arent interested in information and more about being right and telling others they are wrong. ive already seen this sort of behavior pop up here and there and it naturally divides people. there are some really cool people that use this software and yet because of the lack of intimacy a forum creates you guys wont be able to get to know them since you stay only on the forum side of things. personally i value networking in anything i do. i love being able to make new friends that share my interests. because EM has to handle these forums and its sparse communication at times, it makes praise more rare and works on humans desire to be acknowledged. theres also been times when people disagree with a bug report based on personal bias and not the issue actually being present or not. this has lead to things being praised that have had bugs that really needed to be worked on not just praised. there are very few people that will actually have the guts to tell someone especially a company hey this is broken or that they dont like something. most just want to be in good graces. when a community helps handle things it takes that praise kink to a minimum so long as no one else becomes an authority figure that people desire praise from. it depends on EM if they want people that just praise their work they can choose 1 way and if they want people that actually can tell them hey something is wrong and not just say what a great company they are then they can choose another way. really they could have both options open or an entirely different one. just my thoughts on this matter. ive been considering this for quite awhile now. personally i would find it so much easier to interact on discord where im comfortable. i also have the ability to delete all the information ive stated on a discord server if i so choose. im sure EM would do it for you if you asked here but as of now past a certain time after posting we cant edit or delete our data. if your concern is with preservation thats one thing but there are times when you need to nuke info or just need to edit it so that its more understandable, maybe add to something you found and its not possible currently here. its nice being able to ask a quick question on discord and get a response from someone or direct help asap vs waiting on forums. weve gotten a lot done there for people and its been really nice.
Well said, I see it the same. Btw the EU wants to introduce age verification for Discord, where you'd have to submit your ID information. Similar to opening a bank account. Which sounds really crazy to me. All this against the backdrop of the fact that a lot of personal account data was recently stolen from Discord.
