Advertising panels at the start of Rebelle have no place on my desktop!

I know the people at Escape Motion have to make a living and pay their rent.
I'm happy for them that they earn a good living and a lot of money.
But a panel advertising a sale at the start of Rebelle [B]absolutely intrusive[/B],
even if i can turn it off.

Personally I'm fine with these, as long as they are used judiciously, and they're easy to disable. I like hearing about contests, etc. Maybe a compromise would be to have a check-box during installation that says something like "[B]show me occasional news and announcements about Escape Motions products and events when I start the app (can be disabled in preferences)[/B]". That way, people who are more sensitive to advertising can opt out of ever seeing any.
But like I said, I feel like the things that EM is using the function for are appropriate.

Well, I don't quite understand how anyone can agree to something like this.
I find it simply outrageous and intrusive.
If I want to know what's new or interesting, they can notified me by email
if I've agreed to that. But that seems not enough for them.
I can only see one reason for such behavior: They want to jump right in your face.
My impression, for some time now, is that they have a hyperactive marketing.
Am I supposed to go through all the preferences after installing a program to
see where I can disable ads ? Sounds a bit strange to me. Why should I disable
something that has no business being in a purchased program in the first place?
The funny thing is.
Escape Motion also showed me Ads in Flamepainter a couple of days ago.
A program they haven't developed in years, which hasn't had any updates in years.
But ads ?

You don't need to go to preferences, every notice has a checkbox at the bottom left to disable all future notices. Worst case scenario is that you see one announcement and then turn them off. My suggestion was to have the program ask if ads are permissible upon first-start after installation. I do sympathize with your position, I just have a different sensitivity level.

As already mentioned, unwanted advertising has no place on my computer,
even if it could be deactivated — however easily that might be possible.
The fact that some users aren't bothered by this advertising disguised as information
doesn't make it any less intrusive or unnecessary.
As I said, there's the option of handling this via email, for example, by subscribing to a newsletter.
if I've already subscribed to such an email, I don't have a major problem with it. So what's the point
of placing something like this in the program?
Fortunately, I have enough graphics programs here that remain unobtrusive and simply
fulfill the purpose for which I bought them.
