Upgrade from Rebelle 4 to 6

Greetings ! Many thanks for the great software you are making for us - I have been enjoying it for five years. Could you tell me please how much it will cost to upgrade from version 4 to 6 ? I am still running Windows 7 and don't want to change OS, but would like to get GPU rendering advantages.

After trying a R8 Pro I decided to stay with my present version 4.1.2 as strokes painting in R8 is significantly slower then in R4. The most laggy is Sumi-e brushes, while I expected them to be fastest, as the traditional techniques assume. Playmg with RealShader settings gives nothing. I have the following configuration: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz, 2661 Mhz, 4 Core(s) GPU: RTX 2070 Super OS: Windows 7

Hi [USER=66126]@yesbird[/USER] , Please note that Rebelle 8 needs Windows 10 (minimum) to run smoothly; the issue might be in your configuration.

[/QUOTE] Hi, Veronika, Thank you for your reply, it's possible, but I don't want to upgrade this OS, as working mostly with Linux. Could you please give me a release to try, that aims to work on Windows 7 and at the same time support GPU ?

Hi [USER=66126]@yesbird[/USER] , Please note that the support for Windows 7 has been discontinued by QT platform we use for building Rebelle. The last compatible version was actually Rebelle 4 you currently own.

I can live with R4, but would like to have a Motion IO with websocket under Linux to write a 3D painting service, that we discussed [URL='https://www.escapemotions.com/community/forum/t/45245/painting-on-3d-objects/']here[/URL].
