I'm really curious if there's anything much closer to dripping liquid paint? Think a brush/sponge/rag etc heavily loaded with paint of various viscosities dragged across canvas or gessoed birch panel and the paint flowing in natural rivulets to the floor. So, effects like Cy Twombly's drips as he gestured floral shapes, or [B]even better[/B], pure pouring or brushed and dripping paint like the recently deceased Pat Steir was so famous for? Is that sort of effect even achievable with Rebelle, or is the "liquid engine" part not capable of this?

Down side is that no matter how much water you add to a single location, it will never overflow that location without gravity. So you can never just pour liquid onto the surface at the moment. I really wish we had the option to set viscosity of the liquid, and merge the concept with impasto. At a high enough viscosity, paint won't flow any more, but IRL, I treat medium body acrylic as a water color, so I get both brush stroke and paint depth, but also granulation and flow effects where thinned.
