Upon update 8.2.4 Windows, Wacom pen pressure sensitivity is lost. No pen eraser detection either Changing preferences does not fix "Windows Ink compatible" set as default. Attemped to change to "Wacom compatible (Wintab), Restarted Rebelle, However, setting default back to "Windows Ink compatible" Rebelle is not usable in this state. I use a Wacom Intuos 4, 12x18 (Extra Large) tablet. No issues in previous versions. Note: Photoshop users that use Wacom tablets and Windows have to turn off all "Windows Ink" settings. Hi guys, I am sorry this is happening to you. This usually happens when Rebelle is unable to detect the Wacom driver in the system. I recommend reinstalling the Wacom driver to see whether it fixes the problem. Has this helped?

Hi Veronika! Unfortunately, reinstalling the driver didn't solve the problem for me. The WinTab option worked on version 8.2.3 and still works in 7.2.7 (the version I have to revert to because I can't reinstall 8.2.3 on my computer at the moment. I'm using a Intuos 4 and a Cintiq 16.

I lost all my mappings and settings "for the science" because I forgot to save them, anyway I can confirm that it did absolutely nothing. Now I'm sad, without pen pressure and display mapping :´) Please send help. Also, I'm afraid to downgrade the version, is there any tutorial for that? or i just uninstall recent and install older one?
doesnt seem like this is just wacom. im having the same issue on huion. with windows ink on in huion the pressure it still not sensed it is acting as if im continuously having the pen held down even with the mouse. turned off ink, no pressure but not acting like pressing the pen. tried to change to wintab which previously worked and upon restart its reverting to windows ink. opentablet driver is not working at all either when previously it did on windows ink mode. changing to xeneclabs does work with huion ... ❤️ okay quickie workaround,❤️ change your tablet mode to xenec labs with pen position restart rebelle change to wintab restart rebelle open rebelle again check the tablet mode its on it shouldnt default to ink it should now say wintab and pressure should be normal at least for mine its not stuck on windows ink after doing that

Just for the sake of information, I haven’t experienced any pressure issues with my XP-PEN Deco L graphics tablet since installing Rebelle 8 Pro 8.2.4 (Windows 11).

Hi I had the same issue which was solved as follow. 1-Do not uninstall the driver 2-Close R8 3- Disconnect the tablet 4-Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the tablet 5-Restart the PC 6-Wait a minute until the PC starts properly 7-Make sure R8 is checked in the driver 8-Open R8 and go to prefrerences and check wintab That's all, it worked for me and I hope it does for you too

@cheriekitten @ARPPAR Tried both methods without any results. The option WinTab always reverts to Windows Ink. I believe this problem will require a patch of some kind to be solved.

I even manually edited the setting .ini file to change tablet selection but as soon as Rebelle is started it changes itself back to windows ink. I've given up for now and reinstalled 8.2.3

No problem with WinTab here - so I wonder what might be different on my system... Windows Ink is disabled in my driver panel for the dedicated Rebelle profile as well as for 'Other'.

after having rebelle closed all day and not restarting the system it tried to default to windows ink again. this time xenec labs wouldnt work so i had to change it to windows pointer device then close, reopen rebelle and choose wintab then close and restart rebelle again for it to take. something is definitely wrong with the tablet preferences. and i agree it will take a patch to fix it. im curious if another huion user is having a similar issue though it doesnt matter too much as even for someone using huion its defaulting to windows ink just like all the others.

This happened on mine, with Win 10, although I can't recall exactly what I did to fix it. It set itself to Windows Ink in the preferences and pressure sensitivity disappeared. I think I just set it back and restarted, and since then it's been OK. Even so, it should not have happened.

Hi guys, We were finally able to reproduce this with one Wacom tablet; others we own worked OK. We are looking into the issue right now. As a temporary workaround, please downgrade back to Rebelle 8.2.3. We hope to find a fix soon!

I just started having the pen pressure issue on a Wacom One 14 with Rebelle 8.3.3 after intalling latest Wacom driver 6.4.14-1. I rolled the driver back to 6.4.12-3 and pressure is working normally.
