Wacom Art Pen 2 Barrel Roll not Working with Intuos Pro / Rebelle 8 / Mac

I suspect the problem is with the new Wacom Art Pen 2, which I recently purchased. But, I'd like to find out if any other Rebelle users have experienced the same problem. And, if they did, and fixed it....How they do that? The Art Pen 2 is supposed to have barrel roll, but that feature doesn't work with my setup: Rebelle Pro v.8.2.4 and Wacom Intuos Pro L (PTK870) with latest driver. In fact, it not only doesn't work, it *really* doesn't work....the (bristle) brush stays rigidly fixed in the horizontal position so that even tilt doesn't affect it. There is a Reddit thread (r/wacom) on this topic, but the comments there are mixed. Works for some, not for others. Which I think really points to a problem with the pen itself. Anyway, my old original art pen still works like a charm with the same setup. (I don't know why I bought the new pen...FOMO, I guess). Thanks in advance.

I didn't realize that I needed a firmware update. Did that. Now it works.
