Hello

I wanted to draw your Attention to Lazy Nezumy Pro.
Maybe some of you know it already.
Lazy Nezumy = LN only run under Windows, unfortunately there
is no Mac version.

LN is a Tool that allows you to paint with a great variety
of Rulers in Graphicsprograms that don't have these Rulers.
Originally, I believe, it was used as a Tool for Photoshop.
But you can use it with many other Graphics programs.
By the way also in Flame Painter ;-)

Extra tip! Try LN with a Vectorgraphicsprogram, because this
can open possibilities you may not have thought of bevor.
E.g. Affinity Designer or Inkscape, LN works great with
Vector programs.

As you may know, Rebelle has Rulers but LN offers
way more possibilities with his Rulers.

In LN there are the following rulers:
Ellipse
Quadratic Bezier
Cubic Bezier
Perspective Ellipse
Radial Lines
Parallel Lines
Connected Lines
Vanishing Lines
Linear Perspective
Isometric Perspective
Fisheye Perspective

Some of these rulers can also be combined
with the L-Function of LN, this results in some
unusual possibilities.

Here a Link to the LN Website
that will show the Rulers in a Video.
https://lazynezumi.com/rulers

There is also a Demo Version which
will work for 15 Days.

To use LN:
- Start LN.
- Start your Graphicsprogram e.g Rebelle.
- In LN go to Menu and select File > Hook Window
- Now select the Rebelle Screen and put your Cursor
over the Rebelle Screen, after a few Seconds LN will
capture/hook the Rebelle Screen so all the Rulers of LN
will now work with Rebelle.
- Push the Start button in LN and you are ready to go.
By press the Start button again you can also switch off LN
for a while, if you like to draw with no rulers.

I find LN from case to case quite practical at times,
and as I said it can be used in many different Graphics programs.
( e.g Flame Painter ;-))

I hope you find this Tip useful for your paintings.
Wish you a nice day.
Gottfried

I have Lazy Nezumi, but I don't know how to get it to work with Rebelle.  Can you explain how to get LN working with Rebelle?

Hi AllenGladfelter

I explained how to use LazyNezumi in my Post above.
But here in short:

( LN = LazyNezumi )

To use LN:

- Start Rebelle (or any other Graphicsprogram)
- Start LN

- Switch to LN and go to the Menu above and select "File > Hook Window"
- Than switch to the Rebelle Screen and just put your Cursor over the Rebelle Screen
after a few Seconds LN will "capture/hook" the Rebelle Screen (you note this by a short flicker)
then all Rulers of LN will now directed to work with Rebelle.

- At last you have to "Push the Start button in LN" and you are ready to go
to paint in Rebelle and use all LN Rulers in with Rebelle.
  - By press the Start button again you can also switch off LN for a while,
if you like to draw with no rulers.

- To use the Ruler you like, go to LN Window, select the Ruler you want
and switch to Rebelles Window and start to paint with this Ruler.

Here a short video from LNs Website
https://lazynezumi.com/faq

Please note, that in this video the Start Button in LN is allready pressed.

@MxHeppa

You are welcome.
LazyNezumi also works with Affinity Designer I tested
this a few weeks ago. Also in other vector programs like Inkscape.

By the way, I haven't found a Paint program yet that wouldn't
work with it, you can even use it in FlamePainter
as I mentioned above.
