This year’s conference on computer graphics convened by the ACM SIGGRAPH organization will take place in Anaheim, California and we’re proud to be a part of it!

As one of the few software development companies, we were accepted to attend the Appy Hour where independent app developers introduce their apps to SIGGRAPH 2016 attendees. SIGGRAPH is widely considered the most prestigious forum for the publication of computer graphics research and we can’t wait for the conference and exhibitions to begin!
At Appy Hour we’ll be presenting brand new Rebelle 1.5 version with improvements like custom color sets, canvas rotation, touch support for tablets and Wacom displays, support for interface translations, easier canvas tilting, native pen pressure support for Surface tablets and many more. We’re looking forward to receiving feedback from the most competent experts and artists in this field and releasing Rebelle 1.5 to the public afterward.
We’re so thrilled! The conference starts on July 24th and the Appy Hour will take place on July 27th. Those of you who will be there, definitely drop by and speak with Peter Blaškovič and Michal Fapšo or schedule the meeting with Escape Motions via email [email protected].

See you there!

Sounds great guys! Did you actually show it at Siggraph? Some co-workers and friends attended but they tell me didn't see it. Anyway, I've been wishing to use Rebelle more effectively on my Cintiq Companion 2 mobile so I'm eagerly looking forward to the new multi-touch features. :D
Hi@LittleGreenDog:disqus, yes, we attended the Appy Hour which took place on Wednesday July 27th.
Ah, that explains it--they probably didn't attend that event. Good luck with the release! It sound very exciting.
No version 1.5 yet to public?
Not yet, but very soon! :)
We need to polish few more details.
You'll get the news in your mailbox, so stay tuned!
Just curious how V1.5 is coming along. I'm eager to get my hands on a canvas that can be rotated while I draw. Any updates you care to share will be most appreciated.
Hi Chuck,
all new features are already implemented, we just need some time for polishing details. We hope to release Rebelle 1.5 at the end of the month, if all goes well.
Congratulations to everyone on the Rebelle/Escape Motions team. I absolutely love Rebelle. It is a great app, that just keeps getting better. There are painting apps out there that are buggy and hard to use and make painting a pain. Not Rebelle! You guys are the best!!!!
Thank you, Kerry!
Peter, I was working on a painting in rebelle when I went to save and it crashed my imac (Retina 5k, late 2014, running el capitan 10.11.3). Now the file wont open, so it seems it's corrupted. Any way to open this file and save all my work?
Hi @qxe,
please send us the file at [email protected], we'll get back to you. If you saved the crash report, please send it to us as well.
Peter
As a member of the 'public', I can't wait to see and try out the new release features. Wherever I go, if I'm in a creative kind of crowd, I love to call up Rebelle on my Surface Pro to dazzle and get them to try it. It never fails to amaze. Keep up the great work and please, please don't take too long to get 1.5 out to the masses!
Thanks so much Bob!
