I just switched from a Windows Laptop to a Macbook Pro M1 with 16GB of memory.

Undo seems to be broken... or at least partially broken.

-> If I create a 1920x1080 canvas, it all seems to work fine, I can draw several strokes and undo all of them.
-> If I create a 4000x3000 canvas, then only the last stroke is undoable. Drawing 4 simple short strokes, only the last one will accept undo.
-> Eventually it'll stop working altogether, as I keep on drawing... not even the last stroke is undoable sometimes.

Note that when I launch the app after install, I'm greeted with a memory warning after drawing just one stroke. This makes me go to the preferences and increase the memory limit ot the maximum value (somewhere between 15 and 16GB). After this, the warning doesn't appear anymore... but still, undo doesn't work any better.

My guess is something's broken with memory detection on the M1 Macs?

I can repro with both Rebelle 3 and 4 (latest versions as of today).

Is this known?

Cheers,
☀️ Day

This issue should be fixed in the latest Rebelle 4.1 update.

Will this fix be pulled into a 3.2.x patch?

We're getting this same problem on a new 16GB Macbook Pro M1 (running v.3.2.5)

Hi @EKsha,

most problably not, as the development of Rebelle 3 version is finished. Please consider upgrading to Rebelle 4 for the special upgrade price.
