Hey there - I was using watercolors on 7.1.7 and decided I didn't want drips, so turned them off on Visual Settings. When I'm done with one painting and start a new one, it seems to reset to "enabled," which is bad if you're expecting no drip behavior. In fact it appears all the visual settings reset to default states when opening a new canvas. I had never noticed this before... seems like the program should remember your preferences from canvas to canvas unless you go in and change them again. Is this a bug or expected behavior?

robsalk i found out you can create a custom preset which keep your setting if you create a new painting below Watercolor Behavior on the right side of "presets" there is a little menu choose "save to custom preset" here

Thanks [USER=1510]@2dpainter[/USER], that is helpful. In fact, I just noticed a whole dropdown of useful presets for different papers that I was unaware of. Currently it appears you can only save one variation, and it will always have the name "Custom." Suggestion for a future update, maybe allow users to create and rename more of these...

Suggestion for a future update, maybe allow users to create and rename more of these... should be easy to do as the presets are only a Text File i had a look in: C:\Users\me2\AppData\Local\Escape Motions\Rebelle 7\Data\Presets and in "visual_settings.presets" Default 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 1 1 Hot Pressed 3 3 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 1 1 Cold Pressed 5 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 1 1 Rough 6 5 6 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 1 1 Japanese 6 2 4 5 5 5 7 7 5 5 1 1 Custom 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 0 1 Custom2 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 0 1 Custom3 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 0 1 you can add additional presets in this Text File, i just copied the "Custom" Line and add a Number on the Name It should also be easy to figure out the Values. Hi robsalk, Just as 2dpainter mentioned. This is a setting under the certain preset and with the new project, the setting resets. Try saving as a custom preset. 2dpainter - thanks for your suggestion!
