I would like to add that I tried reloading the saved painting (that I saved after as I hadn't saved before) and it was like this. I tried restarting the program and reloading it and it was still like this. I have an Intel core i7-12700K with 64GB RAM. My Graphics card is unimportant because Rebelle doesn't know what a GPU is.

Restarted computer and program to make sure everything was fresh. Loaded painting and deleted the offending layer with the artifacts. New spotted artifacts appeared. Artifacts cannot be painted over.

Hi, Are you using any color profile on this artwork? Are you able to reproduce it every time? If yes, can you please send us a video? Please reproduce the issue in one Rebelle session and send us the following: - the REB file - "app.-latesttimestamp-log" file from [i]Help > Show Library folder... > Data > Log[/i] (when you are in the Log folder, first close Rebelle before obtaining the latest log) - settings.ini " file from [i]Help > Show Library folder... > Data[/i] Also send us the complete information about your system, especially your graphics card and which update it uses (and when it was last updated). I'm doing everything the same as I have always done. I select don't manage colour profile. This has only been an issue since 7.1.7 (which I had and just upgraded to 7.2.0 to see if it would solve). I have found the cause of this issue happens when selecting 'show deckled edges'. When I do this the main painting doesn't show any issues but the navigator window does and subsequently the exported JPG file also shows the same artifacts. This happens with every base canvas you can use deckled edges on (I don't have any other canvas or papers). Try looking at deckled edges. My GPU is 1170Ti with up-to-date drivers. [b]TO RECREATE[/b] 1. To recreate open new painting with basic CA01 Canvas (any basic canvas that allows deckled edges) + default colour + any percent zoom + heightmaps on + any canvas colour + deckled edges. My canvas size was 2746 x 2025 either 200 or 600 dpi but I don't think these matter. 2. Make brush really big and cover canvas in paint (I chose pink) and look at navigator window and see artifacts around the outside edges. artifacts shown here in export are worse than shown on Navigator window [img]https://www.escapemotions.com/community/uploads/posts/2024/08/42186/2024-08-01_15-08:31_deckled_fail_1.jpg[/img] 3. Go to layer and change select canvas to not show deckled edges and artifacts will disappear from Navigator Window and also not appear in Nanopixel output either. 4. While I'm here and have your attention, can you please update this piece of shit forum - it's 2024 and I've seen better functioning forums back in the 90's. No email notification on reply to post or topic. No reply to specific user post (you click reply but it doesn't do anything). No delete or edit post. How do you not just go to GitHub and download a better forum template than this rubbish? I left a much more nicely worded suggestion on the forums elsewhere but for some puzzling reason nobody responded. Probably because nobody comes to these forums because everybody hates using them due to how user unfriendly it is here. I literally hate coming here and writing anything unless I absolutely have to.
