Valentin lives in Germany and has worked successfully as an illustrator and comic artist for the past 30 years. After many years in the field of humorous comics and cartoons, he discovered the possibilities of digital art in 2013. Since then, he has increasingly focused on painting fantasy and science fiction pieces, as he has always been an avid reader of these genres. In 2019, he won a prestigious Spectrum Fantastic Art Award. A few years ago, he also discovered his passion for traditional art, especially oil painting, and has been working ever since to give his digital pieces a more organic, natural feel. His artistic interests have also expanded to include classical landscape painting and portraits. With Rebelle, he has finally found the right tool to create works that range from comic to realism, and more abstract experiments.
