Fluid Painter |
Fluid Painter - experimental tool for painting in liquid. It's a part of my 'I am an Artist' experimental project, where I try to create inspiring environments, where everyone can be an artist.
You can create fluid paintings with variable brush color, size, opacity, noise on different preset backgrounds.
With the "Liquidity" option you can change the liquidity of the fluid.
Another painting application which is a part of 'I am an Artist' project is the watercolor paint software
Rebelle and the famous Flame Painter.
You can find more experiments here.
The fluid simulation is based on Jos Stam paper Real-Time Fluid Dynamics for Games, you can find more of his projects here.
Programmed in processing.

Hi Ash,
try it in different browsers. Some stopped supporting Java in the meantime (e.g. Chrome).
Thanks!
I would like to buy a high resolution version of this. Will there be one ?
Hello Chris,
thanks for your message and interest in Fluid Painter. This is only an experimental version, not a full featured application and it is not available for purchase. Maybe in the future ;)
Cheers,
Peter
you need to open java settings panel by searching for it in the windows search bar. Then open the 'security' tab and add this website to a list of exceptions
for me it says Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running.
