Let’s Have Some Fun with Improved Experiments on our Web

A- | A+

Did you know we offer a free online version of our software available on the web? You can easily try out the basic features right there in your browser. And that’s not all!

Besides free online Flame Painter, Amberlight and Rebelle there are some other exciting apps and games you can try out. The experiments are created by Peter Blaškovič, our creative guru as a part of his experimental projects and were available online from the very start of Escape Motions' existence. But, you know, Java did not work in all browsers so users had many troubles running them.

Luckily these days of despair are officially over because we took every experiment and rewrote the code either into Javascript or Flash. Now they should work with no problems in all browsers without the need of installing any third-party engine. Let us introduce some of the most popular ones.

Caution: The experiments can cause very dangerous, long-lasting procrastination and too much fun!

Fluid Painter’ is an experimental painting tool. If you are familiar with Rebelle you will see some resemblances. Why? Because the code of the Rebelle application was inspired by the Fluid Painter engine. You can create fluid paintings with variable brush color, size, opacity, noise on different preset backgrounds. With the “Liquidity” option you can change the liquidity of the fluid. Have fun with Fluid Painter here: https://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/fluid_painter/index.php

Do you wish to play with magic flame effects? If yes, you will be fascinated by the ‘Fire 3’ experiment which is a fire simulation sandbox, more realistic and accurate than its previous versions. You can create fire, draw wooden or stone walls, burn them up, create particles, air emitters and burn it all with a fireball. Too much fun! Find the Fire 3 experiment here: https://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/fluid_fire_3/index.php

Amazing realtime motion effect can be done with ‘Dust’ experiment - thousands of dust particles are moved by wind forces with the only will: to reach their final position. You can draw different scenes for particles and switch their behavior from 'implode' to 'explode'. Fascinating, right? Let’s try it on your own skin here: https://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/dust_effect/index.php

Do you like games? Then you’ll love the simple yet very funny game called ‘The Others’. Your task is to avoid evil X’s that are falling from the sky while trying to gather life points and white circles that enable your protection shield. Goal: survive as long as possible! The best score is over 227k points, so show off and beat it: https://www.escapemotions.com/experiments/the_others/index.php

All experiments can be found on our Experiments page. We recommend you to run them on your desktop computers because most of them are compute-intensive.

Have fun!
